Chinastraat




A branding for urban cultural centre Chinastraat and its summer bar Bar Bricolage in Ghent. System containing symbols based on forgotten writing systems of ancient cultures, designed on a tight grid
For Chinastraat we focussed on using alternating bright flashy colours, rather edgy symbols and a bold yet rather neutral font, since the hub is polyvalent. Whereas for Bar Bricolage we used a duo of calmer colours with a more natural base, as well as curvier shapes and a slightly more organic looking font.
